AB de Villiers, South Africa have record day in Cricket World Cup blowout of West Indies

South Africa’s victory margin tied the World Cup record set by India against Bermuda in 2007 and is tied for the fourth-highest victory margin by runs ever in one-day international cricket. South Africa’s 408-5 also is the second highest in Cricket World Cup history, with the record set by that same India team against Bermuda in 2007 (413-5).

Writing before the match, Indian Express said de Villiers has always done quite well against West Indies:

South Africa now has four points from three World Cup matches, tying with India, Ireland and West Indies atop Pool B (though India and Ireland have played only two matches while West Indies has played four).
