White Sox pitcher Chris Sale breaks foot while unloading something from his truck

Weird injuries happen all the time to in real life but that’s because so many of us normals are clumsy. Professional athletes, though, with their superior physical prowess, probably shouldn’t be fracturing a foot while doing something mundane, like unloading their car. Unfortunately for Chicago White Sox pitcher Chris Sale, however, that’s exactly what had him hobbling into spring training Saturday, according to an article on the team’s official Web site.

It was not made clear exactly the stuff was that Sale was unloading from his truck, but for White Sox fans it’s not the “what” that matters as much as the “when,” as in when will he be back in action?

According to the team, the 25-year-old left-hander is expected to be out for at least three weeks when his status for Opening Day will then be evaluated.
