It's going to be a long offseason for the Seattle Seahawks, knowing that they were one yard from capturing their second straight Super Bowl title.
For Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson, he will probably take the loss harder than anyone. That's because he threw—what was essentially—the game-ending interception at the goal line in the final minute of Super Bowl XLIX.
The Seahawks trailed the New England Patriots, 28-24, and faced a 2nd-and-goal from the 1-yard line. That's when Wilson threw a pass that will eat at him forever.
In a video for The Players' Tribune, Wilson opens up about how he's handling the heartbreaking loss. It will be tough for him to move on from the loss, but he's going to learn from it and improve. Most importantly, he's confident that he and his teammates are good enough to get back to the Super Bowl in the future.
