It’s a win-win, really. Chicago Blackhawks star Jonathan Toews got some delicious cookies while the 5-year-old Girl Scout who sold them to him met her goal, which was to sell cookies to Toews, her favorite player.
Toews is apparently hard to get to, however, so the Blackhawks sent Toews’s teammate Andrew Shaw in to help young Alexis. The whole adorable ordeal was edited into one heartwarming video, which was tweeted out Thursday afternoon by the Blackhawks.
Alexis was all business and even got Toews to do a little work for her as shown when he crookedly irons on her latest merit badge to her vest. Luckily, she doesn’t seem to mind that much.
The bit was made as part of the Blackhawks’ viral #WhatsYourGoal campaign, which encourages fans to share their goals then go after them.
