Kevin Garnett spent his first 12 seasons in the NBA with the Minnesota Timberwolves, so suffice it to say when the team announced during the raucous end of the NBA trade deadline on Thursday that they’d acquired him from the Brooklyn Nets after he agreed to drop his no-trade clause, fans got pretty excited.

One fan in particular found himself cheering the trade in video form. Within hours after the announcement this heartfest 30-second video titled “Kevin Garnett — Coming Home” popped up on YouTube and has earned nearly 70,000 views in less than 24 hours.

Meanwhile, Thaddeus Young, who was traded to the Brooklyn Nets in exchange after spending less than a season with the Minnesota team did not get a heartfelt goodbye. He did, however, tweet out his own, which was quickly followed by a “How you doin’?” to his new Brooklyn-based team.
