Prepare yourself for a heapin’ helpin’ of hype as the biggest bout in the history of boxing approaches May 2.

In response to a report last week in which Manny Pacquiao showed off his moves on the street, Floyd Mayweather has one-upped his May 2 opponent by knocking out his sparring partner with a body blow.

Photographer Chris Robinson told CBSSports.com that Mayweather has been increasing the intensity of his workouts, much to his partner’s dismay.

“Floyd doing his thing,” Robinson, whose HustleBoss.com has images and stories from Mayweather’s camp, told Lyle Fitzsimmons. “He dropped one of the guys with a body shot.”

Mayweather’s sparring partners often bear the brunt of his aggression, which doesn’t always translate into the ring.

“[Mayweather's] known to beat the crap out of his sparring partners,” SecondsOut.com columnist Marc Livitz told Fitzsimmons. “Swarming Pac would not be the answer, because I still think that despite the fact that Pac is now powerful on each side — he can still be outboxed.”

However the bout between two fighters who are closing in on 40 plays out, boxing is the winner. The fight at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas is expected to break every financial record ever in boxing. Mayweather stands to earn $120 million or more, with Pacquiao taking in around $80 million.
