Larry Donnell, the New York Giants’ tight end, was among the passsengers aboard a Delta airplane that skidded off a snowy, icy runway at LaGuardia Airport on Thursday morning.
Donnell confirmed that he was uninjured, posting images of the incident on Instagram. The first came with an understated “Plane down” comment.
A moment later, he was a little less composed. “Look at this [expletive],” he write. “Knew I shoulda stayed my [butt] at home.”
“I’m blessed to be safe and sound after our plane skidded off the runway at LaGuardia airport today,” Donnell said (via ESPN). “I feel fine physically and hopefully all the other passengers did not have any significant injuries. We were all shocked and alarmed when the plane started to skid, but most importantly, as far as I know, all of the passengers and flight crew were able to exit the plane safely.”

Donnell, 26, was on Flight 1086 from Atlanta because he was headed to Giants’ headquarters to sign a one-year, $585,000 contract with the team.
