Jameis Winston takes early visit with Bucs, perhaps a sign that they’re drafting him No. 1

After the NFL draft combine wrapped up, all signs pointed to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers taking Florida State quarterback Jameis Winston with the No. 1 pick in the draft.

That seems even more likely in light of these Twitter reports from ESPN’s Adam Schefter on Tuesday morning.

The Glazer family owns the team.

As just about everyone has pointed out, Winston clearly looks to be the most NFL-ready quarterback, but questions will certainly linger about his off-field issues. These visits will serve as something of a P.R. tour.

Marcus Mariota, seen as the No. 2 quarterback available in the draft, is expected to visit with the Bucs sometime in the next month, Schefter reports.
