Katy Perry is selling Left Shark onesies because Left Shark

Now you can relive the Super Bowl halftime show — and who wouldn’t want to, really? — 24/7, if you so please.

Katy Perry, who trademarked “Left Shark” a mere five days after performing at Super Bowl XLIX, is capitalizing on the viral sensation one of her dancers created with his odd moves. For $129.99 you can own an official Left Shark onesie. Perry announced the move Tuesday night on Twitter, changing lives with the words “ATTENTION INTERNET: NO LONGER DO YOU HAVE TO DIY LEFT SHARK COSTUME LIKE THIS GUY.”

“You can now be a proper #leftshark with this official glorious #leftshark onesie,”she added.

If even a fraction of her 66.2 million Twitter followers shell out for it, she’s going to make out like a bandit. Warning: the onesie comes with no means of easy bathroom access.

After spending most of her career in traditional print sports journalism, Cindy began blogging and tweeting, first as NFL/Redskins editor, and, since August 2010, at The Early Lead. She also is the social media editor for Sports.
