Running back LeSean McCoy is set to join the Buffalo Bills when the NFL's new league year begins on March 10, and it looks as though the three-time Pro Bowler will have a new contract in hand as well.

The Bills shocked the football world March 3 when they struck a deal with the Philadelphia Eagles to acquire McCoy in exchange for linebacker Kiko Alonso, according to ESPN.com's Adam Schefter and Mike Rodak.

Per Mike Garafolo of Fox Sports 1, McCoy and his soon-to-be new team will have a new pact in place when the trade is officially announced:

As pointed out by Garafolo, this seems to suggest that McCoy is happy with his new situation despite initial reports to the contrary:

The 26-year-old superstar is one of the best and most explosive running backs in the game, and he will undoubtedly be a huge part of the offense that head coach Rex Ryan and offensive coordinator Greg Roman hope to execute.

McCoy has three years left on his current deal and is currently slated to bring a cap hit of over $10 million in 2015, according to Spotrac.

Terms of the new contract aren't yet known, but if the Bills and McCoy are able to reach an agreement that saves money against the cap, it will be interesting to see what other moves Buffalo makes in free agency.
