Jarrett Bush, the special-teams captain of the Green Bay Packers, was arrested Sunday for public intoxication in Vacaville, Calif., his hometown.

Bush, 30, was arrested for the misdemeanor charge of disorderly conduct under the influence, then released on $1,600 bail, according to KTVU-TV in San Francisco. A nine-year veteran who is also a reserve cornerback, Bush is expected to become an unrestricted free agent on March 10 and it will be interesting to see whether his arrest affects that. He has played for the Packers since 2006.

The arrest is the second for a member of the Packers since their season ended with the Jan. 18 loss to Seattle in the NFC championship game. Defensive tackle Letroy Guion, who is also expected to become a free agent, was arrested Feb. 3 in his hometown of Starke, Fla. Guion, whose case is still pending, was arrested with nearly $200,000 in cash and 3/4 of a pound of marijuana in his vehicle.
